We are looking for an experienced excavation lead with strong safety awareness, excellent technical knowledge of excavation methods, experience managing crews and equipment, the ability to read and interpret plans, decision making capabilities under pressure as necessary, a good understanding of local regulations, and strong communication skills. Excavation leads work in multiple pieces of heavy equipment doing site prep for houses and commercial properties.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as dozers and excavators, on various projects.

• Understanding grading and construction plans.

• Knowledge of Trimble GPS and machine control systems preferred. (Training available if needed.)

• Ability to work within a team environment and make judgement calls as necessary.

• Willingness to work long hours as needed.
