Breaking Ground at OMC

We’re excited to share that J & S General Contracting officially broke ground on the Osceola Medical Center (OMC) Expansion Project on October 27, 2025! As a proud local contractor based right here in Osceola, it means a lot to us to be part of a project that will directly benefit our community.

This expansion is all about improving access to quality healthcare, and we’re honored to help bring that vision to life. Working alongside Timco Construction, we’re rolling up our sleeves and getting to work.

What’s Happening Now

Our crews are busy on site with:

• Clearing and prepping the area, including removing old pavement and landscaping.

• Excavation and grading to get the site ready for the new building and stormwater systems.

• Upgrading utilities, like rerouting water and sewer lines and installing new hydrants.

• Putting erosion control in place to keep everything safe and environmentally sound.

We’re focused on keeping the site clean, safe, and efficient—especially since the medical center is still serving patients during construction.

What’s Coming

Once the project is complete, the community will enjoy:

• A brand-new hospital wing with updated patient care spaces.

• A larger, more accessible parking lot with ADA-compliant features.

• Beautiful landscaping and stormwater improvements that support sustainability.

We’re proud to be part of something that will make a lasting impact in Osceola. It’s not just about building structures—it’s about building up our community.
