New Building Update: Ready for Framing to Begin!
Timelapse video of site prep and concrete work for new J&S building.
We’re excited to share another big milestone in the construction of our new facility for J&S. The project continues to move along smoothly, thanks to great teamwork and favorable progress on site.
Site Prep
The project kicked off with site prep, getting everything ready for vertical construction. Proper grading and layout sets the stage for what’s shaping up to be a functional and long-lasting new building.
Warehouse Posts Are Up
One of the most visible signs of progress came with the installation of the posts for the warehouse portion of the building. This work was completed by F.B. Contractors, and seeing those posts go up really made the project feel real. The warehouse footprint is now clearly defined, giving a great sense of the scale of the space.
Office Floor Poured
Meanwhile, our concrete crew has been busy on the office side of the project. After installing foam insulation and in-floor heat tubing, they prepped and poured the concrete floor for the new office building. This step is a big one—not only does it lock in the office layout, but the in-floor heat will provide long-term comfort and efficiency for years to come.
Up Next: Office Framing
With the office slab now complete, we’re ready for the next exciting phase. Wittstock Builders will be coming in soon to start framing the office portion of the building. Once framing begins, the interior spaces will really start to take shape, and progress will be noticeable day by day.
We’re thrilled with how this project is coming together and grateful for the skilled crews helping bring it to life. Stay tuned for more updates as framing gets underway and the new J & S General Contracting building continues to rise!
